VEDN Auditing
Certex is a recognised VEDN systems auditor.
The Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks (VEDN) is a committee of the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry (VESI). The VEDN creates a single standard for requirements across the five Victorian Distribution Businesses. Its purpose is to certify civil contractors working in underground electrical infrastructure:
Excavations
Boring
Trenching
Cable hauling
Installation of conduits/ducts
Installation of earthing systems
VEDN Approved Civil Contractors
Accredited contractors must meet the VEDN requirements for the installation of underground electrical civil works. These include:
Integrated management system
Trained employees
Inspection and test procedures
Worksite and system audits
Civil contractors seeking VEDN Accreditation must have an integrated Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management System that contains the necessary VEDN Network special requirements.
Our auditors are industry experts and highly experienced. They can guide you through the VEDN accreditation process from pre-qualification through to ongoing accreditation, including:
Initial Registration
Review and gap analysis of your management system (new clients)
Initial and ongoing management system review and auditing to ensure you continue to meet VEDN requirements
Preparation and submission of audits and information to meet VEDN certification requirements
Provide a Certificate of Accreditation once the submission is approved by VEDN.
